How did you start pet portraits?
My first pet portrait was commissioned by a client’s husband in 2018 of their beloved Dachshund. I did a few after that as gifts for family. Then Covid hit and I used it as a way to keep myself busy while I was “staying home”. I have done hundreds of portraits since then.

What's your favorite animal to paint/sculpt/photograph etc?
Cats and dogs. I love that they come in all shapes and sizes.

Do you have any pets? Are they an inspiration in your work?
I have two gremlin dogs. Two of my favorite portraits are of them, and I do hope to illustrate a short story with them some day.
