Q&A
How did you start pet portraits?
I've always loved drawing animals, so it was a natural progression to start creating pet portraits!
What's your favorite animal to paint/sculpt/photograph etc?
I love drawing cats; they're so quirky and have such big personalities and are always fun to draw.
Do you have any pets? Are they an inspiration in your work?
I have a 6 year old cat named Nola, and she is my biggest inspiration! She's influenced a lot of my work and I love drawing her. I adopted Nola from a local shelter, and it was the best decision!
Any advice for artist getting into pet portrait work?
Just have fun with it!
Do you take commissions?
